Privacy

Last updated: 12 May 2026

Short version: we don't collect personal data, we don't store your content, we don't set cookies.

What we don't do

We do not upload your Markdown files. We do not retain a copy of anything you type. We do not set any cookies. We do not run any user-identifying analytics. We do not sell or share data, because there is no data to sell or share.

What we do

We use Plausible Analytics to count page views and a small number of usage events (PDF downloaded, file imported, language switched). Plausible is cookieless, runs in the EU, and is GDPR-compliant by design. The events never include the content of your Markdown.

Local storage

mdprint saves a draft of what you're typing to your browser's localStorage so you don't lose work if you accidentally close the tab. The draft stays on your device and is never transmitted anywhere. You can clear it any time from the Settings panel.
